New this year, Ballet Des Moines is excited to offer young audiences the experience to witness professional ballet on stage through our Nutcracker Suite!
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12 | 10:30 AM | $3 PER STUDENT
Ideal for grades 1-5, Ballet Des Moines’ presentation of A Nutcracker Suite invites children to experience the tradition of The Nutcracker. This classical ballet and its iconic characters will come to life during this 80-minute performance.

In partnership with CultureALL – Ballet Des Moines Dancers and CultureALL Ambassadors come to your classrooms and gymnasiums to teach how dance styles from around the world tell stories, preserve tradition, and bring people together. These interactive educational performances feature the costumes, movements, music and stories that have been passed down for generations.
